It is exactly a month since i said goodbye to mum and dad at Melbourne airport and set off to france for a 10 month stay as aupair in the Gand Family. In true Stephanie Reid fashion i said goodbye to my parents with very teary eyes and walked through those big scarey silver doors.
Once through the doors and through customes i sat in the terminal lounbge and waited for my flight. I made friends with a guy from melbourne who was a teacher...somewhere overseas...and liked to bore me with stories about his long distance relationship with his girlfriend. The flight was long and boring, only one inflight movie worth while watching, and i didnt watch it.

i arrived in paris on the 10th of January at 7am-ish i caught the train from CDG international airport to Bures Sur Yevette where i would be met by Aurelie. I arrived to snow and some very cold weather, the first few days my body took a beating as id forgotten my coat, aurelie lent me one of hers tho.
I didnt go to Paris untill the weekend, i visited notre dame and wandered the area, i bought a red beret to celebrate with my self my first day in paris..

being a month since a lot of this has happened im having trouble remembering the details so in general this has been my month
